ION ST : World cup downhill !!

The Ion ST is our most race-oriented downhiller. For most Nicolai team riders it is the Ion that is their first choice. Its relatively low weight and neutral 4-bar rear allow for fast acceleration. The suspension works perfectly - predictable and slightly progressive. A long front frame with a short rear make the Ion ST stable in tracking and highly manoeuvrable. The harder the course the more this superior 4-linkage frame demonstrates its strengths. However, you don’t necessarily have to be an experienced racer to appreciate the Ion ST - downhill is not just competition. Downhill is having fun, enjoying the speed and flow - it is the search for new challenges and the reward of the adrenaline rush.
